Vilpe Ltd (formerly SK Tuote Ltd) is a Finnish manufacturer of special roofing and ventilation products and insulation fasteners. The company’s factory is located in Korsholm, Finland. In addition, Vilpe has subsidiaries or storages in Russia, Sweden, Poland, Ukraine and Baltic states. The company exports products to approximately 30 countries. These products include exhaust vents, roof fans, pass-throughs, ventilation poles and fasteners.[1]
Vilpe is a family-owned business and was founded in 1975. The company was called SK Tuote until 2018. The company began producing its own products in 1984 when the factory was completed in Korsholm. The company has been awarded the ISO 14001 environment certificate and the ISO9001 quality certificate.[2]
Vilpe’s turnover in 2020 was 21.5 million euros. The company employs over 90 people in Finland, mainly in Korsholm. The entire group employs about 150 people.[3] Tuomas Saikkonen has been Vilpe’s chief executive officer since 2020. [4]
