Vinícius Henrique de Oliveira, better known as Vinícius Henrique Photography, is a Brazilian photographer born on March 29, 1999.
Career[edit]
Vinícius was born in Poços de Caldas, a city in the southern region of the State of Minas Gerais, in Brazil. Since he was very small he always had contact with cameras, because at home there was always one around. After many years, this love for photography grew. In the beginning of 2018, Vinícius decided that he would dedicate himself more to photography, as he was used to photographing only in his city, he realized it was time to explore new horizons. It was then that he had the idea of trying to get to know a new country every year.
So in late 2018 he made his first international trip. The destination was the Atacama Desert, in Chile. It was with this trip that Vinícius began to stand out in photography, with photos of volcanoes, wild animals and large sculptures shaped by nature. These photos were used in album covers, advertisements, big websites and many other things. At that time his number of followers on social networks grew rapidly.
At that time, Vinícius started publishing his photos on a website called Unsplash, that's when his images were spread around the world, reaching almost 50 million views and 200 thousand downloads.
Following his plan to get to know a new country each year, Vinícius went to the Netherlands, more precisely Amstersam, at the end of 2019. Just like in Chile, his photos had great repercussions on social networks, even being one of them used for open a story on the Mexican Forbes website.
In 2020, Vinícius was invited by the American website Elevated Oak to give an interview. talking a little about his beginnings in photography, his travels, and where he sees himself in a few years.
