Vincent Triest (Albanian pronunciation: [vinsɛnt tɾist]) is a Dutch journalist.
Triest studied Public Administration at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. He served until 2019 as the foreign correspondent in Albania working for international media.[1] Triest was a member of the Association of Professional Journalists of Albania and the only accredited correspondent in Albania. He was referred to as an Albania-expert by the Dutch magazine Elsevier.[2]
In 2019 he became De Telegraaf's asylum correspondent.[3] In June 2020 he was physically attacked at a demonstration in Hoorn that he reported.[4][5]
