Lt. Colonel Vineet Kumar is an Indian Army officer, United Nations peacekeeping trainer, and travel author. He is known for training peacekeepers from over 50 countries and for authoring Mayan Routes, Indian Roots – a travel book exploring cultural connections between India and Central America.[1]
Early life and education
Vineet Kumar studied at Jawaharlal Nehru University and later earned a management degree from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.
Career
He has served in the Indian Army in various command and instructional roles and participated in multiple international United Nations peacekeeping training programs. He has trained peacekeepers from over 50 countries.[2]
Book
In 2025, he authored the book Mayan Routes, Indian Roots, which was launched in New Delhi.[1] The book explores the possible links between Indian and Mayan civilizations. It is published by Walnut Publication.[3] The book is also listed on Google Books.[4]
