Vishal Patil is a politician from Sangli district, India. He is a member of the Indian National Congress and a vice president of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee.

Early life[edit]

Vishal Patil was born 13 October 1980 in Sangli Maharashtra, as son of Prakashbapu Patil and Shailaja Patil He is an the grandson of Vasantdada Patil, and the younger brother of former member of parliament and coal minister of India, Pratik Prakashbapu Patil. he completed his Graduation in 2001 from Mumbai University

He graduated from Shivaji University.

Ideology[edit]

Vishaldada Patil is working to preserve the legacy of his father's ideas (the family has held the seat of Sangli for the last 25 years[1]), to keep the co-operative movement intact and to strengthen the Congress party.

He is managing the Vasantdada Shetkari Sahakari Sugar Factory.

Political career[edit]

Vishal Patil was Sanglis Lok Sabha candidate from Swabhimani Paksha for the Congress-NCP coalition in 2019, with the agreement of Raju Shetti, whose party did not run there.[1] He gained 344'643 votes[2] (28.96 percent of votes) and is now the vice president of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee, which is a focal point of district politics.
