Vital Kazlovski (Belarusian: Віталь Уладзіміравіч Казлоўскі, romanized: Vital Uladzimiravič Kazloŭski; Russian: Виталий Владимирович Козловской; born 28 November 1955 in Minsk) was a Belarusian economist and financial expert, Doctor Of Sciences in Economics, Professor.
Biography
Vitali Kazlovski was born on November 28, 1955 in Minsk. He graduated from the Belarusian State Economic University in 1980, then – PhD Studies at the Institute of Economics (National Academy of Sciences of Belarus) followed by the doctoral studies at St. Petersburg State University of Economics. In 1999, he defended his thesis for the degree of Doctor Of Sciences in Economics. The name of the thesis is "Integration of Central and Eastern European countries into the European Economic Area"[1]. Professor (Russia, 2000, Belarus, 2004)[2].
He served as an Assistant to the President of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (since 1987), an executive secretary at the Committee on State awards in Science and Technology under the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus[3]. Since 1978, he worked as a researcher at the Institute of Economics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. From 1994 to 1996 Vital Kazlovski worked in the banking system of Belarus: as the director of the branch of Belarusbank, in 1996 served as the Chairman on the Board of Belinvestbank and as an advisor to the Chairman on the Board of Directors of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus.
Since 2016 Vital Kazlovski has been working as Professor at the department of finance and accounting, faculty of economics and management, Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno[4]. Visiting professor of Central China Normal University[5]. Vital Kazlovski pursues scientific and teaching interests (which include teaching graduate students, master degree students and PhD students).
From 2004 to 2006 Vital Kazlovski was the Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus.
Researches
The main scientific studies of Vitali Kazlovski have been done in the field of macroeconomics, international trade and monetary relations. Vital Kazlovski studied the problem of establishing a connection between wages and the final results of production in a planned economy. Another area of Vital Kazlovski’s expertise is the integration processes and development trends in Central and Eastern Europe. He developed the theory and socio-economic content that takes into account leveling the economic and cultural level of Central and Eastern European countries in the context of globalization.
Vitali Kazlovski is the author of more than 400 scientific works[6] (articles, monographs, books) in the field of economic theory, money distribution, money and credit theory, optimal management, decision making. Vital Kazlovski published 18 textbooks and manuals, including 11 textbooks with the seal of approval by the Ministry of Education of Belarus. A number of works have been published in Canada, United States, Norway, China, Russia etc.[7]
