Vladislav Ivanovich Butov is a Russian Swimming coach, Honored Coach of Russia. One of the most experienced specialists at the Sport School of Olympic Reserve No. 6 (Omsk), who trained athletes who achieved high results in international competitions.[1]
Biography
Vladislav Ivanovich Butov worked as a coach at the Sport School of Olympic Reserve No. 6 in Omsk. Over the years, he trained many well-known swimmers who became winners and prize-winners in various competitions.[2]
One of the main achievements of Butov's coaching career was the preparation of a former world record holder Andrey Korneyev, who won a bronze medal at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta in the 200-meter breaststroke. For this result, as well as for winning the European Junior Championships, Korneyev was awarded the titles of Master of Sports of International Class and Honored Master of Sports of Russia. Vladislav Butov trained Andrey in tandem with Nadezhda Alexandrovna Ashchepkova.[1]
Under the leadership of Vladislav Ivanovich, athletes from the sports school achieved success at zone championships of Russia, championships and championships of Russia, became prize-winners of the European Championships, Olympic and Paralympic Games.[1]
