W&G Sissons is a British manufacturer of sinks (washroom solutions) in Derbyshire; it is the largest manufacturer of stainless steel sinks in the UK.

History[edit]

The company was established in 1784. William & George Sissons took control of the company in 1858.

The company was incorporated on 31 December 1941[1], now known as Sissons Sinks.

Sinks[edit]

It made sinks from the 1930s, from monel metal alloys. From the 1950s it made sinks out of stainless steel, and production moved to Bakewell.

Structure[edit]

The managing director is Andy Dukelow. The head office is in Barlborough, in Bolsover District.
