Formed in 2019 through the merger of Sivantos (until January 2015 a Siemens business unit) and Denmark-based Widex, WS Audiology offers a comprehensive portfolio of technologically advanced hearing aid solutions and services across its brands Signia, Widex, Rexton, Audio Service and others. Its roots date back to 1878. [1]
Today, one in three hearing aids worn by people around the world has been manufactured by WS Audiology. They are active in over 125 markets and employ more than 10,000 people worldwide. Their portfolio of leading hearing-related products and services generates annual revenues of more than €1.7 billion (2019).[2]
WS Audiology is privately owned by the Tøpholm and Westermann families, as well as funds under the management of global investment firm EQT.[3]
