WaiBOP Premiership

The WaiBOP Premiership is a New Zealand amateur football league. The league is run by WaiBOP Football, and includes football clubs located in Waikato and Bay of Plenty. It, alongside the NRF Championship, promotes to the NRFL Division 2.[1]

The fixtures are played generally from April to September. The league winners enter a two-game playoff series with the runners up of the NRF Championship, with the winner being promoted to the NRFL Division 2.[2]

The current champions of the 2022 season are Waikato Unicol[3] and as a result will play off against the NRF Championship runners up, Papatoetoe for the last promotion spot.[1][4]
