Walter Francis Schenck (July 2, 1870 – September 2, 1941) was an American judge and politician.[1][2] He was the second mayor of Lubbock, Texas.[3][4][5]
Life
Walter Francis Schneck was born on July 2, 1870 in Alabama the son of Francis Reinhardt Schenck and Mary Woodley..[6] He served as the mayor of Lubbock from 1915 to 1917.[7] He was then a Texas District Judge for Young County during the 1920s.[8][9]
Schenck died on September 2, 1941 and was buried at the City of Lubbock Cemetery.
