Waqar Ehsin وقار احسن is a Pakistani Singer, Composer and Music Producer [Singer/ Music Producer]. He has earned huge fame in few years of his singing career.

Biography

Waqar Ehsin وقار احسن was born in Sharjah city of United Arab Emirates and he is the grandson of popular ghazal singer of Pakistan late Ejaz Hussain Hazervi who was follower of respected Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan. Waqar moved back to Pakistan with his family after the death of his grandfather Ejaz Hussain Hazervi, now he is residing in Islamabad/Rawalpindi with his family.

Career

Waqar started learning music at the age of 10 from his father. He is the only student of Legendary Singer Abida Parveen. Having released a multitude of singles, Waqar Ehsin is a young pop artist constantly on a journey of discovering new realms of music. He came into limelight for the first time in 2014 when he participated in the music reality show ‘Pakistan Idol’. He was among the top 10 contestants of the show. He made his debut in the biggest music show of Pakistan Coke Studio Pakistan (season 10) in 2017. On this platform he got the chance to work with many big names of the music industry. In ‘Coke Studio’ he sang the hit song ‘Tinak Dhin’ along Ali Sethi which became viral, and later he along with Ali Hamza and Ali Sethi got the Lux Style Awards [1] [2] [3] [4] for the best Singer of the year 2018.
