WEESA (イーサ, born February 26, 2004) is a Japanese singer and a vocalist of the dance and vocal group PSYCHIC FEVER from EXILE TRIBE. He is from Aichi Prefecture and is represented by LDH JAPAN.[1]

He is the youngest member of the group, with a height of 187 cm. His father is Moroccan and his mother is Korean.[2][3]

Career

Early life and pre-debut

Influenced by Michael Jackson, WEESA aspired to pursue a career in music from an early age.[4]

As a kindergarten student, he modeled for a children’s clothing brand produced by JESSE of the rock band RIZE. He has stated that this gave him the opportunity to attend live concerts, which further strengthened his dream of pursuing music.[4]

In 2013, he participated in LDH’s audition “GLOBAL JAPAN CHALLENGE” and enrolled at EXPG STUDIO Nagoya.[1]

In 2017, he was selected as a trainee of EXPG Lab, and in the same year, he began performing as a member of the EXPG unit “Crasher Kidz.” [1]

Joining PSYCHIC FEVER and debut

In 2019, after passing an internal LDH audition, WEESA was chosen as a member of the new group PSYCHIC FEVER. On July 4, he was introduced at “BATTLE OF TOKYO ~ENTER THE Jr.EXILE~” held at Makuhari Messe as part of the newly formed group.

Following this, the group undertook a training tour across all 47 prefectures of Japan before making their major debut on July 13, 2022, with the release of their first album P.C.F.

Solo activities

Music production

In addition to group activities, WEESA also engages in music production, often collaborating with fellow member JIMMY.

On June 28, 2024, he participated in the release of the digital single Perfect feat. JIMMY & WEESA. [5]

This was the first official release by the JIMMY and WEESA unit.

On December 6, 2024, he featured on SH♡TGUN feat. JIMMY, WEESA, ぺろぺろきゃんでー, a collaboration with sibling rap duo ぺろぺろきゃんでー. JIMMY performed the verses while WEESA handled the hook, emphasizing their self-produced style.[6]

In May 2025, WEESA and JIMMY appeared together in the Recording Academy’s official interview series It Goes To 11, representing the group’s creative side and discussing their music production process in English.[7]

They were the second Japanese act to be featured in the project after YOASOBI, and PSYCHIC FEVER was introduced in the program as a “Japanese supergroup.” [8]

Fashion and modeling

In 2023, WEESA was selected as a model for the Autumn/Winter 2023 collection of JUNRed’s online exclusive line “re_k by JUNRED.”[9]

On March 2, 2024, he made his runway debut at the 38th Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection 2024 SPRING/SUMMER within the “TGC VINTAGE COLLECTION.”[10]

On September 7, 2024, he appeared alongside JIMMY as a model on the MIKAWA PALETTE STAGE, part of the 39th Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection 2024 AUTUMN/WINTER in Aichi Prefecture. [11]

In June 2025, WEESA and JIMMY served as advertising models for FORSOMEONE’s SUMMER 2025 “GRAPHIC TEE & SHIRT” collection.[12]

Interests

In addition to music, WEESA has a strong interest in art and fashion. Influenced by his mother, who worked in fashion, he developed an early interest in clothing and practiced remaking garments himself. [4]

He also developed an interest in visual art, learning spray art from a graffiti artist he met at his dance studio during junior high school, and has since pursued it actively.[4]

He contributed sticker and keychain designs for the PSYCHIC FEVER ASIA TOUR 2024 “HEAT”.[13]

Personality and anecdotes

As the youngest member of the group, he is often regarded by both fans and members as having a free-spirited, “younger brother” character.[14]

In 2024, a short video he posted on TikTok gained attention overseas, with users noting, “There is an Arab member in a Japanese group.” [15]

Since he speaks English, WEESA often takes a leading role in international interviews alongside JIMMY. The two also share the same birthday (February 26) and are nicknamed “Nagoya Brothers” (なごブラ) by fans and members.
