White Paper on governance

The White Paper on governance is a White paper published on the 25th of july 2001 by the European Commission with the aim of driving forward the democratic process in the European Union. It is based primarily on four measures: higher involvement of citizens, more effective definition of policies and legislation, engagement in the debate on Global Governance and the refocusing of policies and institutions on clear objectives.[1]
