History

Beginning in 2019, Wildlands Festival's inaugural event was hosted in Bowen Hills, Queensland, spanning across one day to end the year. A carefully curated line-up of both domestic and international artists was delivered, providing festival-goers with a wide variety of genres and styles over the one-day event.[3] The first year saw artists such as Claptone, Dom Dolla, Green Velvet and Tyler, the Creator.

2020 saw Beyond the Valley take a year's hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Returning for its second year, Wildlands Festival expanded to two days, becoming Wildlands Weekender. This year it will play host to artists such as Golden Features, Masked Wolf, Skin on Skin and The Veronicas.[4]
