William "Will" Graham is a Canadia tattoo artist, visual artist and entrepreneur. Graham is the producer of television show Engaged in Ink .

Early life and education[edit]

William "Will" Graham was born in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.

In his youth, Graham attended Eastwood Collegiate Institute School for the Arts in Kitchener, Ontario.[1]

Early in his career, Will was employed as a commercial artist for 7 years by Simpson Graphics and Lithography, Kaumagraph International, and Anson Graphics[1] where, among other projects, he designed the album cover for Celine Dion’s “Let’s Talk About Love” (featuring the iconic Titanic theme “My Heart Will Go On”) for Sony Music.[citation needed]

Visual artist[edit]

Graham is often commissioned to do various styles of artwork. Celebrity actor Dan Ackroyd's Crystal Head Vodka once commissioned Graham to design a special edition bottle for a Toronto fair, wrapping a clay octopus around the special edition Crystal Head Vodka bottle.[2]

Graham's work has also been shown in New York City’s Times Square as part of international art collective's See.Me’s 'Art Takes Times Square' exhibition.[3]

Graham was also an Artist-in-Residence with London Arts Council where he helped run a number of youth and inter-generational art programs giving back to the community. Graham has also helped to develop the artistic curriculum in London, ON, and taught art for elementary and college students. He also teaches artistic workshops through organizations like the Lawrence House Centre for the Arts.[4]

Graham also works with non-profit organizations like Youth Opportunities Unlimited and Hutton House to provide career paths for young artists looking to pursue careers in tattooing.[5]

Graham has been a featured artist and winner[6] of the Expressions in Chalk street painting performance festival, and participated in various other street art competitions in various cities.[4][7][8][9]

His work was part of an exhibition called 'Off the Human Canvas' by the Lawrence House Centre for the Arts featuring artwork exclusively from regional tattoo artists.[10]

Graham currently resides in Courtright, Ontario where he also owns and operates the White Church Gallery, a commercial art gallery.[11][12]

Tattoo artist[edit]

Graham began apprenticing as a tattoo artist at Too Cool Tattoos in Owen Sound, Ontario.[1] In 2001, Graham moved back to Kitchener, ON to work at World Domination Ink where he was employed for the next 4 years.[1]

Since 2008, Graham has been the owner/operator of Neon Crab Tattoos & Piercings.[5]

Graham also produced the annual Engaged in Ink Tattoo Awards in London, ON, an awards show honouring acheivements in the tattoo and body modification industry.[13][14][15]

Engaged in Ink (2016-2017)[edit]

Graham is the creator, director, producer, and host of the tattoo culture television show Engaged in Ink, which aired 2 seasons and 16 episodes on Rogers TV in Canada from 2015 to 2017.[16][17] The series was filmed in both Canada and the Unites States of America, and originally aired on Rogers Cable Television in Canada.[18] Both seasons of Engaged in Ink have been released for sale on DVD.[citation needed]
