Will the Wise
Will the Wise is the fourth episode of season two. The Mind Flayer makes Will Byers really sad, and Mike Wheeler decides to comfort Will, and Joyce Byers starts yelling at Will. The kids realize that Will is being attacked and getting his feelings hurt by the Mind Flayer. Eleven, defeated, returns to her cabin and decides to go to her room. She thinks about Jim Hopper and thinks of similarities between him and Martin Brenner. She locks herself in her room and wants to grow up. Jonathan Byers finds Joyce sleeping with Will and leaves them alone, Nancy Wheeler leaves and meets up with Jonathan, ready to tell the Hollands the truth about Barb Holland. Joyce tries to call Hopper, but can’t reach him on her phone, not knowing why. She realizes that Will has a fever and decides to give him an ice cold bath. Dustin Henderson is feeling good today and decides to take care of D’Artagnan, feeding him three musketeers chocolates. Will decides to enter the ice cold bath that Joyce prepared for him, but thinks that the bath is too cold, he starts to have a hot flash and thinks that he’d like it cold. Eleven decides to clean up the cabin so that when Hopper arrives, she is ready to greet him again. Nancy and Jonathan go to the park to see the Hollands, but they realize that they’ve been compromised and that the officers thought that they murdered Barb Holland. A man asks them if they can come with him. Will says that he can feel the Mind Flayer eating him alive and he is scared that the Mind Flayer got him, he says he can feel the Mind Flayer. Joyce says that she can’t understand what he’s saying and that he should draw it instead. Mike calls Will but Will doesn’t call back, and he is confused, he thinks that Will is cooked because of what happened on Halloween. Mike decides to go to Will’s house to check on him while Dustin is supposed to find D’Artagnan. Eleven finds Hopper’s secret stash and thinks it is cool. At Hawkins Lab, Nancy and Jonathan see how Hawkins Lab is no longer trying to open the Vale of Shadows, but instead destroy it, but they can’t, they think that the reason that they kidnapped them is because they want to tell them that they can’t tell Barb’s parents or else they will become Flayed by the Mind Flayer. Eleven read a newspaper about a woman who was missing her child named Jane Ives and decides to call her, and when she enters, she calls Eleven Jane Ives. Creeped out, Eleven hangs up the call. Nancy and Johnathan leave the lab, with Johnathan taking a lot of pictures of himself and Nancy while they were in the lab, and Johnathan wants to show the pictures to people. Mike goes to the Byers house and tells Joyce that he suspects that a monster is in Hawkins. Dustin’s mother is searching for Dustin, when the cat follows a blood trail and finds Dart feasting on the remains of Dustin before Dart attacks the cat. Jim Hopper wakes up inside of Eugene’s prison with a hole inside of his lower abdomen from Eugene’s grandson. He finds many tunnels.
