William Rashidi is a Nigerian LGBT activist for bisexual, gay, and gender minority people in Nigeria. He is a steering committee member of the Open House for Health and Human Rights, and also the Director of Equality Triangle Initiative, located in Delta State, Nigeria.[1][2] He also advocated for the use of Pre-exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) among LGBT people to prevent infection of HIV.[3] In 2011, he opposed the 14-year jail term for same-sex marriage that was passed into law by members of the Nigerian Senate.[4]
