Wines on Disk (marketed as Anthony Dias Blue Wines on Disk) is a consumer software program published by Paperback Software International in 1986.
Overview
The application used a menu-driven interface to suggest wine pairings for meals, drawing on guidelines by wine writer Anthony Dias Blue. Its database contained American varietals and vintages. Users selected meal components and personal taste preferences; the program then displayed wines considered appropriate according to Blue’s published advice.[1][2][3] The application was created using Paperback Software's VP-Expert.
