Witch It is a multiplayer hide-and-seek game in a prop hunting style, being developed and maintained by Barrel Roll Games. Witch It was released for Microsoft Windows on May 31, 2017.[1] Releases for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are planned for late 2018.[2]
Gameplay
As a Witch, a player starts out in Witch form by roaming around the map and hovering over any objects with their mouse, allowing themselves to become a perfect object and hide from the Hunters. As for the Hunter, when you start out you will have a Chicken which will indicate when there are witches around within a certain radius, which will alert you and any other hunters nearby. The main objective is to take out the witches by throwing potatoes before the time runs out.[3]
Reception
Witch It won at the German Computer Games Awards, winning in the category of Best German Game, Best International Multiplayer Game and Best Youth Game.[4] Witch It on Steam scores 89% from 1,377 user reviews, indicating positive reception.[1] and it costs $14.99 and has 86.1% of 1,580 reviews.[5] On whatoplay, Witch It earned a gamerscore of 8.59 from 3.66K gamer reviews.[6]
