Wonchon Hana Christian Academy
Wonchon Hana Christian Academy (Wonhago, Worldcup-ro 76, Yeongtong-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do, Republic of Korea) is a Christian alternative school that is located in Suwon.[1] Wonhago opened in 2022. There are about 50 students in 10th grade.
Vision[edit]
Wisdom over knowledge, Growth over grade, Real life over learning at school, Life school that learns by doing.
- Not only fragmentary knowledge, research and create the truth and worth and find happiness. Doing a challenging project by teams, learning knowledge and insight.
- Over the college entrance, find the goals and calling in life. Not only grades and study for college entrance, study for the goals and calling from God and become a faithful disciple.
- Worship and bible become with life and live a missional life. A small group with 12 people and make some relationships with friends and God and grow up in religious. Know God more by self QT and worship, and become a responsible christian.
Logo[edit]
Wonhago’s logo is a yellow circle with a white little circle in the middle. This logo symbolizes the mustard seed that was planted on the ground, became a giant tree and is the rest place where the birds can take a rest. This comment came from the bible verse: Matthew 13:13-32.

Subject integration(주제통합 프로젝트): At Subject integration, we crossover the boundary of subjects and learn the same topics in every subjects. As a result, we have presentations, write a small thesis, and make a video.
10th grade subject integration topics: 1st quarter- Creation, 2nd quarter- Me, 3rd quarter- World, 4th quarter- Revival
Personal (individual) project[edit]
Personal (individual) project is a separate project from Subject integration. Students find some topics that they want to do or have connection with their career. Students can have a whole year by doing only one topic, or they can change it by semester or by quarter.
Externship[edit]
Internship of Wonhago. This started in September and it ends in November. It continues for about 8 weeks.
Students search and contact with people who are working with their future job—related fields. If the contact is successful, students work there and experience the world.

Dallas Baptist University English Program[edit]
DBU English Class is a morning English class that opens at 8:00-8:50 AM. Wonhago had a combination with Dallas Baptist University(DBU), and the Professors in DBU do an English class in the morning for students who want to listen to it. There are two types of classes in DBU: Reading (Tues/Thurs), Writing (Wed/Fri). At reading, they read an online textbook—in kids A-Z site—and do a worksheet and study vocabulary in text, and solve a quiz. At writing, we use an online textbook and write a short essay, and have a 1 to 1 conversation time with the teacher and get advice.
