Woonona High School is a government-funded co-educational comprehensive secondary day school, located on Nicholson Lane in Woonona, in the Illawarra region of New South Wales, Australia.[2]
In 2022 the school catered for approximately 894 students from Year 7 to Year 12, of whom six percent identified as Indigenous Australians and eight percent were from a language background other than English.[1] The school is operated by the NSW Department of Education.
Overview[edit]
The school was established in 1964 on the site of an old dairy farm. The school celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2014.[3]
