World Divyang T10 League India's first franchise-based, premier league format T10 cricket tournament dedicated to the Physically Challenged cricketers of India. The league would involve around 80 players from across the country and they would be divided into 8 teams. The inaugural season of the WORLD DIVYANG T10 League saw the emergence of several upcoming cricketing talents, and such players then went on to represent the Indian Disabled Cricket team that won the Physical Disability Cricket World Series 2019 in England. The second edition of the tournament is set to take place from 23rd April 2022to 1 may 2022 in Noida Stadium (Uttar Pradesh). The league was founded by RAJEEV MISHRA, the chairman of WORLD DIVYANG T10 League KNOW US LARGEST DISABILITY CRICKET TOURNAMENT. The inaugural season of World Divyang T10 was held in 2021, where the "Maharastra Team" emerged as the winners.
The league is organized by the Para Cricket Association of India (TPCAI) . This league has been widely appreciated and supported by various organizations, celebrities, and eminent cricketers. Mumbai Team has been officially acquired by Indian actor and comedian Rajpal Yadav.
The league aims to rehabilitate disabled individuals through the game of cricket. It aims at creating a platform to identify and promote upcoming cricketing talents from the grassroots. The league is committed to bringing about a revolution in the world of physically challenged cricket and the second edition of the World Divyang T-10 League could be a ray of hope in the life of physically challenged cricketers whose lives have been hit hard by the Covid 19 pandemic. A cricket tournament of this format could be a great platform to help such aspiring and ambitious cricketers in terms of creating awareness as well as financial stability.
