The World Laparoscopy Hospital is a single specialty hospital exclusively dedicated to laparoscopic surgery treatment, training, and research. It is located in Gurgaon, Haryana, India. It is NABH accredited and ISO 9001-2008 certified, and its training is recognized by the World Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons[1]. All of the laparoscopic surgeries in this hospital are performed by surgeons, many of whom have trained internationally. World Laparoscopy Hospital has branches in Gurugram, India, Dubai, UAE and Orlando, Florida, USA[2].
The World Laparoscopy Hospital[3] also provides free laparoscopic and robotic surgery for patients who are socioeconomically underprivileged. They also perform free laparoscopic and robotic surgery for Below Poverty Line patients under the Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana insurance program initiated by the Government of India. Fellowships and Diplomas in Minimal Access Surgery Courses from this Institute are recognized by The Global Open University.
