Xiang Hanzhi (Chinese: 向涵之; pinyin: Xiàng Hánzhī; born 4 May 2002), also known as Julia Xiang, is an American-born Chinese actress. She is known for her roles as Ye Xiaoyu in Honey, Don’t Run Away (2020), Chen Jiajia in A Little Mood for Love (2021), and Mu Qingge/Xue Ranran in Love of the Divine Tree (2025).
Early life and career
Xiang Hanzhi was born in the United States on May 4, 2002. She was raised in America.
By chance, she met actress and director Xu Jinglei, who immediately decided to sign her a contract. In May 2018, Xiang Hanzhi officially entered the entertainment industry as she signed under Beijing Kaila Pictures Co., Ltd., which is co-founded by Xu Jinglei.[1]
In 2019, she made her debut in the youth campus drama Rules of Zoovenia as Ye Zi, marking the beginning of her career.
Personal life
Xiang learned to play tennis at a young age. She also enjoys oil painting and often shares her work on social platforms.[2]
In her 2025 SPOTLiGHT Magazine interview, Xiang Hanzhi opened up about her difficulties growing up in the United States as an Asian. She dealt with loneliness, social anxiety, appearance anxiety, and feelings of inferiority, which gradually dissipated as she started to pursue her acting career.[3]
