Yashwant Vaishnav (born 1993) is an Indian tabla player.
Early life[edit]
Yashwant Vaishnav was a student of Indrakala Sangeet VishwaVidhyalaya. He started his initial learning at the age of 3 under his father Shri Rajendra Vaishnav, followed by training under Dr. Hemant Sachdeva and Pandit Mukund Bhale for over a decade. Presently, he is under tutelage of tabla player Pt Yogesh Samsi in Mumbai.[1] [2]
Career[edit]
Yashwant has been performing as a soloist and accompaniment. In 2016, he was awarded the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar award by the Sangeet Natak Akademi.[3][4][5]
