Yellow Class
Yellow Class is an education technology company based in Gurgaon. It was founded in June 2020 by Anshul Gupta and Arpit Mittal. History
The Covid-19 pandemic caused a widespread closure of schools across the globe. The majority of working professions shifted to a work-from-home culture, while schools and colleges moved to online education. Covid-19 accelerated adoption of technology and fast-forwarded digital adoption by 5 years at least, according to a report by McKinsey and Co[1]. The founders – Anshul Gupta and Arpit Mittal – found the opportunity to develop a platform that would keep children engaged while staying indoors.
The company launched its mobile app - Yellow Class App in January 2021 - within 3 months of receiving funding from the investors in November 2020.

Arpit Mittal, an engineering graduate from VIT Vellore, was the founder of two companies before Yellow Class - Edcited and Roofpik. He is the co-founder and CTO with Yellow Class.
