Yulia's Dream

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Yulia's Dream is a math research program for high school students and Ukrainian refugees offered by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.[1]

Background

The program was started due to the Ukrainian Refugee War caused by the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, and named after Yulia Zdanovska, a 21-year-old mathematician killed during the invasion by the Russian army.[2]

Criticism

Several people have criticized the fact that the program is only offered to people from Ukraine, and not from other countries similarly affected by the invasion.
