Ethasor Emmanuel (born 24 November 2003),known professionally as Yungemmy, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and rapper. In 2020, he started his Recording Label "Yungemmy Records" to be an independent performing artist in the rap trap and alternative trap geners with fusions of hip-hop and the lovely African Afropop (to him, Afro-rap). [1] He rose to prominence with the release of the song "Toosie Slide Remix" featuring Travi (Iranian producer), which peaked #2 on iTunes Nigeria Top 100 songs. [2][3]
Early life and career[edit]
Ethasor Emmanuel was born into a Christian family in Ibeju Lekki, Lagos State.Yungemmy grew up making music while in secondary school. He attained his primary and secondary school education in Lagos State. In 2020, Yungemmy made a Viral Song ‘’Toosie Silde” which was a remix to Drake’s Song Toosie Slide. he has earned the love from his fans with his continous delivery of good music and has gotten over 10.3M streams across streaming platforms in the past year. Amidst other good artist, Yungemmy has gotten airplays in various countries of the world, and promises to represent Nigeria in a greater light to the world, and to use his music to touch lives, help humanity and spread love and peace.
