Z is a film project in development as of 2018, based on the character of the masked vigilante Zorro created by Johnston McCulley.

Zorro fights tyrants in a post-apocalyptic wasteland.

Development[edit]

In 2015, it was reported that Lantica Media and Sobini Films were planning a post-apocalyptic Zorro film and were looking writer anddirector.^[1] In 2016, it was reported that Jonás Cuarón would write and direct the film.^[2]

Casting[edit]

In 2016, Gael García Bernal was cast as Zorro.^[3] In 2018, Kiersey Clemons was cast in the film.^[4]
