Zachary Green

Zachary Lytle Green (born May 21, 1973) is an American international bestselling author, entrepreneur, public speaker, and entrepreneurial consultant.[1][2] He is the founder and president of MN8 and Warrior Enterprises LLC.[3][4][5]

Early Life and Education[edit]

After graduation, Green studied at Roger Bacon High School[1] and joined the United States Marine Corps. He graduated from Bowling Green State University.[1][6][7][8]

Career[edit]

Green served in U.S. Marine Corps Infantry[9][10][11] until 1999.[6] He is a former Firefighter Lieutenant with the Wyoming Fire Department, a suburb outside Cincinnati, Ohio.[7][9][12] During his service, he developed a prototype for a glow-in-the-dark silicone stretchable band to put around a helmet to increase firefighter accountability and reduce disorientation in dark structures.[13]

In 2010, Green launched his company MN8,[13][9][14][12] which developed a proprietary process called Advanced Photoluminescent Technology.[10][15]

He has developed over 50 MN8-Foxfire safety and egress products using Advanced Photoluminescent Technology.[16][15][17] In 2021, he authored Warrior Entrepreneur.[7]

Green co-founded Velontra, an aerospace company specializing in hypersonic weapons and non-rocket-fueled low-earth orbit access propulsion.[citation needed] Green was a City Councilman in the City of Wyoming, Ohio.[8][18] He served on the Public Safety Committee, Economic Development Committee, and Historic Preservation Commission.[19]

Green recently testified in front of the U.S. Congressional Small Business Committee.[11][15]

During COVID-19 pandemic, Green’s company made protective barriers under the brand ClearGurad.[18][20][21][22] He was a keynote speaker at the Cincinnati USA Business Awards in 2014.[12][3] He is the co-founder and host of The Warrior's Voice Podcast.[23]

Recognition[edit]

In March 2023, Green was named the Veteran of the Week by the South Carolina Department of Veterans Affairs (SCDVA).[24] The Obama White House named him as one of ten entrepreneurs in 2016 to represent the U.S. at the Global Entrepreneur Summit.[19][25][26][27] He has also been named Ohio's Exporter of the Year by the Small Business Administration.[15][25][28]

In 2013, Green was awarded Ohio Entrepreneur of the Year by the Ohio Chamber of Commerce.[1][16] He received the President of the United States "E" award in Washington, D.C., from President Trump for his exporting success.[10][25]

Green's company, MN8 Foxfire, was the 2011 winner of Cincinnati Innovates and a semi-finalist in Entrepreneur Magazine Entrepreneur in 2013.[1]

Personal Life[edit]

Green is married to Jennifer Ach Green and has a son, Bryce.[6] He is a former resident of the Wyoming area of Cincinnati and recently moved to Hilton Head Island, SC.[6][10]
