Ali Zainab Nielsen her stage name 'Alizee', a singer from Kogi State, Nigeria, was a popular artist in Nigeria. [2]
Career
Ali Zainab's music career started after secondary school, writing songs and developing her skills. In 2017, Alizee signed a record contract with Petra Entertainment. Before her two-year contract with Petra, she produced a record single called 'Greenlight' with Del B, a well-known Nigerian record producer and songwriter. Her 'Greenlight' music video was directed by Clarence Peters.
Zainab was scheduled to perform in April at Harrison Tare Okiri Harrysong's 'Kingmaker Concert' at Warri Township Stadium in Warri, Nigeria. After the death of Zainab, Harrison posted on Instagram a call to stop domestic violence, and for justice for Zainab and her daughter Petra. [3]
Death
Alizee was found dead along with her daughter Petra on April 5, 2018, in her Ocean Parade Towers home on Banana Island, Lagos, Nigeria. Her Danish husband, Peter Nielsen, is under investigation. [4][5][6][7][8]
