Zaporozhye Oblast (Russian: Запорожская область, romanized: Zaporozhskaya oblast') is a federal subject of Russia (an oblast). It has not been internationally recognized as part of Russia, having been annexed from the Ukrainian Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
History[edit]
The Russian-occupied part of Ukrainian Zaporizhzhia Oblast was annexed on 30 September, along with Donetsk People's Republic, Luhansk People's Republic and Kherson Oblast.[6]
