Biography[edit]
Zaur Kamal was born on December 19, 1974 in the Georgian SSR. After graduating from high school in the Bolnisi district, in 1993 he entered the faculty of "Television Directing" at the Azerbaijan State University of Arts. He graduated in 1997. He is married and has two sons, Bartu and Rustam.[4]
Career[edit]
Zaur Kamal started his leadership career in 1998. For the first time he was the host of "Polygon" program on "Burc FM" (now 100.5 FM). Later, he started working as a TV presenter on Khazar TV. His first television project was "Ay Zaur". He later became famous for his "5 in 5" project.[5][6] In 2016, he was awarded the title of "Honored Cultural Worker". Since 2018, he has been the director of Radio Khazar and 100.5 FM radios. From 2020, 106.3 FM is also the host of "Danishir Zaur". Since 2021, he is the host of "Hemin Zaur" TV program on ARB TV.[7][8][9]
