Zego Insurance is an insurance provider based in London, focusing on serving self-employed individuals in the gig economy. The company's range of insurance products is designed to cater to different professional roles, including private hire taxi drivers, food delivery drivers, couriers, tradesmen, and commercial van drivers.
Insurance services[edit]
Zego offers private hire insurance, which is used by Uber drivers and others in similar roles. This insurance is intended for those involved in private hire taxi services. The company also provides hire and reward insurance, known in the context of food delivery as food delivery insurance. This is available to drivers working with platforms such as Uber Eats, Deliveroo, and Just Eat.[1] Zego's offerings include courier insurance, targeting individuals who work as couriers such as Amazon Flex. This insurance is available for those needing coverage during their courier activities. For tradesmen and commercial van drivers, Zego has carriage of own goods insurance. This is intended for those using their vehicles for business activities, like transporting tools or goods.
