ZenHR
ZenHR is a Saudi Arabian human resources technology company headquartered in Riyadh. It develops cloud-based human resources and payroll management software.
History
ZenHR was founded in 2017 by Yousef Shamoun and Mohamad Haj Hasan, who previously co-founded the online gaming platform Jawaker.[1]
In 2019, the World Economic Forum selected ZenHR as one of the “100 Arab start-ups shaping the Fourth Industrial Revolution.”[2]
ZenHR operated with limited external funding while expanding its client base and developing its software-as-a-service platform. In October 2022, it raised US$10 million in a growth funding round led by the Saudi-based Rua Growth Fund, with participation from Endeavor Catalyst.[3][1] Following the investment, representatives from Rua Growth Fund and Lead Edge Capital joined the board of directors.[1]
Operations
ZenHR is headquartered in Riyadh and operates in 11 countries: Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Lebanon, and Palestine.[3]
ZenHR provides a cloud-based human resource management system (HRMS) localized for businesses in the MENA region. Its core modules cover the employment lifecycle, including recruitment and applicant tracking, onboarding, payroll automation, attendance and time tracking, performance management, and employee self-service.[4]
