107 is a song by American rock band A Course of Action.[1] It was released as the third and final single from the band's second studio album, Treason on January 6, 2016, through Star 1 Records.[2]

Background and recording

"107" was recorded between 2014 and early 2015 at SevenMoore Studios in North Carolina during the sessions for 'Treason.[3] The song was produced by Beau Hill, who also handled engineering and mastering. Guitarist Jonathan Byrd was credited as a co-producer.[4]

Prior to its release as a single, "107" was featured on the band's sophomore album "Treason" which was released on June 8, 2015, via the band's new label, Star 1 Records that also included the two previously released singles "Beautiful" and "Who We Are."[5]

Release

"107" was released as a single digitally on January 6, 2016, through online music platforms including iTunes, Amazon Music, and Spotify.[2]

Commercial performance

Promotion

The band performed "107" at several live shows following its release and incorporated it into setlists alongside other singles from Treason.[6] Although it was not distributed as a major radio single, "107" was circulated to regional and digital rock outlets on satellite radio.[7]

Charts

Although "107" was released as a single, it failed to appear on any major Billboard charts, and only achieved significant airplay in the North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee regions.[8]

In early 2015 official music video for "107" premiered on the band's ReverbNation and social media profiles.[9]
