The knockout stage of the 1991 Rugby World Cup, the second edition of the international rugby union tournament, began on 19 October with a quarter-final between Scotland and Western Samoa and concluded on 2 November with the 1991 Rugby World Cup Final, at the Twickenham Stadium in London between England and Australia.
