The 2019–20 season was Jwaneng Galaxy's 5th consecutive in the Botswana Premier League, the top division in Botswana football. The club competed in the Botswana Premier League, Mascom Top 8 Cup, Botswana FA Cup, and CAF Confederation Cup.
It was the second season under Portuguese manager Miguel da Costa.[1]. Da Costa was dismissed on February 19 after a run of bad results following elimination from the Mascom Top 8.[2] New assistant coach Oris Radipotsane served as caretaker before Serbian Nikola Kavazovic was appointed on 25 February.
The club was eliminated in the Mascom Top 8 semifinals by Diamond Derby rivals Orapa United. On 15 June the Botswana Football Association declared the season over and Galaxy were named Premier League champions, having been top of the table before the coronavirus lockdown.
