A series of events triggered by shockwaves from the 2020 COVID recession, including the overvaluation of companies, the housing market, supply chain restrains, the highest inflation since the 1980's from over-stimulating the economy, and tightening monetary policy, caused the beginning of a recession in the United States by one unofficial measure.
