4Service is a Norwegian facility services company.[1] The company operates nationwide in personnel canteens, catering and restaurants,[2] cleaning,[3] maintenance,[4] as well as catering services for offshore and onshore camps.[5] The company was established in 2010 by four entrepreneurs with backgrounds in other sectors of the service industry, aiming to be a challenger in the field.[6]
The group comprises several brands, including De Tre Stuer (canteen),[7] Eir Renhold,[8] Gastro Catering,[9] Søtt+Salt (canteen),[10] and INC Works (Coworking).[11]
The company has heavily invested in digital solutions related to workplace lunch services[12] and social sustainability, aiming to integrate individuals outside the labor market into employment through the YTE initiative.[13] The YTE initiative was established through a collaboration for job creation between social entrepreneurs, architects, developers, tenants, service providers, and landlords.[14]
In 2020, 4Service was awarded the Matprisen (Food Award) for "Kitchen of the Year" due to its efforts in promoting more sustainable food and beverage consumption.[15]
