A. D. James Holdings, LLC. is a multi-venture company incorporated in Buffalo,[1] Wyoming and with offices based in Fort Worth, Texas. It was founded in 2011 by Antwon D. James[2] who serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board. The company began after Antwon left his post as Director of Operations at local company that provided funeral coaches and limousines for funeral homes.[3]
Mergers and Current Organization[edit]
In 2013 A. D. James Holdings purchased Swan & Holly, LLP following bankruptcy proceedings for an undisclosed amount, the records and terms of the purchase were sealed. Swan & Holly was re-branded as Global Tribune Media & Entertainment Group; also, launching The Global Tribune, an online newspaper/magazine. In 2014 the new brand Global Tribune bought an unnamed media company as well as its assets. Sometime in 2016 Global Tribune was redeveloped as Signature News & Radio and Global Tribune Media & Entertainment Group was dissolved. Following the dissolution, Signature News & Radio become an official entity of A. D. James Holdings becoming its media & communications division.
Today the company has controlling interest in 4 known entities: Signature News & Radio, Administrative Consulting Associates, Signature Memorial Services, and Signature Records. While it remains a multi-venture operation, its main resources have been poured into its media and communications division.
Through recent social media posts, it is projected that in 2018 the company will add additional entities to its roster in the arena of transportation and funeral services.
