Withdrawals[edit]

The Left parties left the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK)-led front in March 2014.[6]

After differences of seat sharing before the 2021 Election, DMDK broke the alliance with AIADMK-led front. The Pattali Makkal Katchi left the alliance but it still remained in the BJP-led NDA in the Centre.[7]

On 25 September 2023, AIADMK withdrew from the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance to form and lead the new alliance, and it was officially announced by the party.[8][9][10]
