A Drop of Blood is a fiction book written by Joginder Paul originally written in Urdu and published in August 1962.[1][2] Originally titled in Urdu as Ek Boond Lahoo Ki (Urdu: اک بوند لہو کی),[3] the book was translated into English by Snehal Singavi.[4] The English translation was published on 5 May 2020 by Penguin Modern Classics.[5][6][7]
Plot
The book is about a jobless young graduate, Mohan, who stays with an old woman. He continues living by selling blood.[2]
