A Drop of Love is a 2012 Canadian romantic comedy feature film directed by Golam Mustofa and produced by Banzai Multimedia in Canada.[1][2] The film features the lifestyle of the Bangladeshi expatriates in Canada through a love story between a Canadian university student and a Bangladeshi girl.[3][4] The film world premiered on 17 January 2012 at the Dhaka Reporters Unity in Bangladesh.[5][6][3]
Plot
The film's story centres around Joseph Bradley, a Caucasian university student who falls in love with Afrin Chowdhuy, a Bangladeshi-Canadian girl.[7] Joseph meets Afrin one day while she is waiting for her husband in the park. Afrin is fascinated by Joseph's speech and his knowledge on Bangladesh and she momentarily forgets whom she was waiting for and begins a conversation with Joseph. In this way, Joseph gets close to Afrin and continues to fantasize about her. However, their interpretations of the significance of their conversation finally turn out to be very different, leading to a big shock for Joseph.
