Aarti Rana
Aarti Rana is an Indian model and actress, who has acted in Indian television shows, Hindi movies and commercials like Essel world,[1] ABP's Saas Bahu Aur Saazish,[2] Nerolac Paints.[3][4]
Early life
Aarti Rana was born in a middle class Gujarati family; her father, Mr. Bhikhu G Rana, has an interior home business in Daman, and her mother, Ms. Jyotsana B. Rana, is a housewife. Before heading overseas to study accounting and business management at De Montfort University in Leicester, United Kingdom, Aarti completed her schooling at Government High School in Daman, Gujarat.[5][6]
Career
Aarti started her acting career doing theatre and plays. She joined Karma Kala Munch theatre group in Mumbai and acted in plays like No Smoking, Naina, Badi Badi Baatein,[7] Tax Free, to name a few. Aarti has also worked with another theatre group called Spandan and acted in plays including One Coin Please, Birju ka Chautha Grahak.[8]
Aarti Rana started her television career with Pritam Pyare Aur Woh, a very popular show on Sab TV[9] opposite Paresh Bhatt. Aarti Rana played a major role in Colors TV’s mega show Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, which received her national recognition. She was seen as Bela,[10] Kaurwaki’s friend and confidante. Bela has been Kaurwaki’s support system since her childhood and guides her during her search for Ashoka. Aarti has also acted in Savdhan India, Adaalat, CID, Laut Aao Trisha, to name a few.[11] She also played an important role in Kangana Ranaut’s movie Rajjo.
