Abbas Rafei (Persian: عباس رافعی, born 09 December 1962) in Shiraz, is an Iranian Film director, Scriptwriter, Producer of cinema and television.he has a bachelor's degree in cinema and a master's degree in dramatic literature. He started his professional career in cinema in 1995 with the production of his first film called "Mina's Secret".[4] which became one of the best-selling films of that year in Iran. During these years, he has made several films and international TV series in Iran and abroad. In addition to directing, screenwriting, and producing, he is in charge of managing the Cultural, Artistic and Cinematic Company of "Filmnegaran". At a global level, this company has taken part in the production of various films with international film producers, finding and introducing special and unspoiled locations in Iran for shooting and marketing activities for both Iranian and International films. Abbas Rafei has been producing or directing a film almost biennially, which is screened at international festivals and then released to the public. Abbas Rafei's films, including "Butterfly in the Wind"[5] and his "Oblivion Season" film, has brought several awards from international film festivals for the Iranian cinema.[6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19]
