Early life[edit]
Abdurrahman was born on 27 March 1965 in Kano Town, within the Urban area Sheshe quarters Kano Municipal Local Government Area of Kano State.[4]
Education[edit]
Sheshe attended Madatai Special Primary School in the year 1972 and Government Secondary School Gwale in 1978 and then he attend Rumfa Collage All in Kano State. He then joined the school of Basic Studies at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria for the IJMB and later got admission in faculty of Medicine in Bayero University Kano[5],for his pre-clinical studies in 1986. Then he move to Ilorin University in 1988 and graduated in MBBS in 1991. Dr. Sheshe did his NYSC in Akwa Ibom State and he was deployed to Kano at the Nigeria Police Force ClinicHeadquarters,Bompai Kano.[3][6][7]
Career[edit]
Sheshe Worked at Murtala Mohammad Specialist Hospital as Medical Officer which known as (Asibitin Murtala) He go to Bayero University Teaching Hospital, Now AKTH, and later, in 1997 to Ahmadu Bello University Zaria for his residency at the Department of Surgery.
Sheshe was appointed Honorary Consultant in Surgery and Lecturer 1 in Bayero University Kano in 2004. He was been in the Department of Surgery of Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital until his appointment as deputy chairman, Medical Advisory Committee in 2014 and then chairman Medical Advisory Committee in 2017,and now He is a Chief medical Director of Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH).[8][5] Sheshe Was appointed as a Chief Medical Director of Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital on 17 December 2019[2][9] After his predecessor, professor Aminu Zakari Muhammad[10]. He received his appointment letter from Health Minister, Dr. Osagie Ehanire after the Approval of Mr. President Muhammadu Buhari.[5][11][12]
