Abhishek Chakraborty is the founder of Whiz Mantra Educational Solutions Private Limited[2] & Build A Class Initiative, A social enterprise aiming to attain a social equilibrium and bridge economics with culture both in urban and rural India.[3]
Chakraborty started his career as an Investment Banker. He also serves at several national and international boards working in the social impact segment. He also served as a jury in AIMA, NASSCOM Foundation and also held a significant position in AIESEC, India. He is a regular speaker on issues of social entrepreneurship at the premier management and engineering institutions.[4] [5]
Early life and career[edit]
Abhishek was brought up in a middle class family in Dhanbad[6] in Jharkhand and did his schooling from De Nobili School, FRI Dhanbad. After Completing his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program from CFA Institute in 2005 he worked in the Investment Banking domain. Swades Hindi Movie impacted his life and forced him to leave the investment banking job and to start his social Edtech venture. He then founded Whiz mantra and started his educational initiatives in the Rural areas of India. [7] [8].
