Build A Class Initiative is a non-profit organisation based in New Delhi, India.[2]

It was established in 2014 and has its programmes running currently in 5 states of India i.e. Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Bihar, West Bengal and Jharkhand.[3] The Organisation aims to attain a social equilibrium and bridge economics with culture both in Urban and Rural India.[4]

It's working in the grassroots of the social demography to educate and facilitate children from off the grid communities to learn better and live a life of fulfillment.[5]

Programmes/Models[edit]

Build a Class is currently working on two types of Programmes. The direct Impact Programmes and Community Development Programmes.[6] Direct Impact programmes benefit the children working over their academic curriculum and basic tenets preparing them thoroughly to win the race of life. This is done using storytelling methodologies, innovative constructs, and integration of 21st century vocational training to prepare children for much more than academics. Community Development Programmes includes Mother literacy Programme, Community Initiative Programme, Importance of Education Awareness Programme and Adolescent girl Child Programme impacting the overall growth of the Children Indirectly.

Build A Class Initiative is a part of the World Bank's "Technology and Innovation for Impact" Summit 2017.
